It’s with profound sadness that the Officers and Members of Lower Somerset EMS announce the passing of Past Member Lowell Anthony “Tony” Rolley. Tony was a member with Lower Somerset from 1983 to 1985 and ran a total of 154 calls for service. Tony also held the honor of being Lower Somerset’s first African American Emergency Medical Technician. Tony joined our department when we were in our original location on Broadway. Many of the older members have fond memories of working side by side with Tony and all say he was a very nice person who always had a positive attitude and was very active with running calls. Our sincere condolences to the Rolley family, Tony will be missed and never forgotten.
