It is with profound sadness that the Officers and Members of Lower Somerset County Ambulance and Rescue Squad report the passing of Past Chief and Life Member, Kim Lawson.

Kim served many years in our organization, starting out as an EMT-A and moving up to a CRT and eventually a NREMTP (Paramedic). He also later became a Registered Nurse. He was always involved in the daily operation, fundraising and whatever needed to be done. He had that knack for getting things accomplished. All as a volunteer. And who could forget all the laughs over the years. Kim gave and gave to our Squad and the community, where he also served as Mayor. He deeply cared about his community. No one could ever dispute that. The man had a huge heart. We mourn the passing of a fine man, a great friend and a dedicated volunteer. He will certainly be missed by our organization and the Crisfield community. God bless Kim and his family and may he Rest In Peace.
